Pearl (Cierra Ramirez) is a sixteen year old vampire. Fond of blood, allergic to sun, and generally pretty evil. But after a mysterious attack leaves her able to survive in the daylight, everything changes. Pearl’s powerful family soon finds a way to take advantage of her new ability: they send Pearl to high school, to gather fresh young blood for an upcoming feast in honour of the Vampire King. The only problem? Pearl’s starting to grow a conscience. How can she serve up her new friends — especially the cute guy (Gregg Sulkin) who makes her fangs ache — to be slaughtered? Then again, she’s definitely dead if she let’s her family down. What’s a sun-loving vamp to do?
The Fosters star Cierra Ramirez will be starring in her second major movie in 2017 on lifetime alongside Gregg Sulkin who will be playing her love interest. The TV movie is based on Sarah Beth Durst’s YA vampire novel ‘Drink, Slay, Love’, which Cierra recently tweeted was her favourite book at the moment.

An actress we are all rather familiar with will be working alongside director, Vanessa Parise… Have you guessed yet? Bella Thorne will be producing the Lifetime TV Movie with Vanessa, whom she has worked with before on another one on Vanessa’s Lifetime movies ‘Perfect High’, in which Bella starred in as the lead role.
Co-stars for the movie will include, Zach Peladeau (iZombie), McKaley Miller (Hart of Dixie), Angelique Rivera (American Crime), Sarah Desjardins (Van Helsing) and Jasmine Sky Sarin (Perfect High).
Filming for the movie has started this month and will last until sometime in September, as Cierra is set to shoot the rest of The Fosters, Season Four, also in September. The cast have shared photos and tweeted showing us how excited they are about working together as a ‘dream team’.
