That’s especially true since Victor will face yet another crisis related to Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Victoria will be willing to ditch her family and reunite with Ashland for a fresh start, but Nick and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will try to reason with her.
This could turn into a situation where Victor calls on Nick to take on a formal role at Newman Enterprises and watch over his sister.
Victor may hope that Nick can keep Victoria on board and help protect her from Ashland’s twisted web.
If Victoria truly cuts ties and walks away from the co-CEO position, Nick could end up sliding in as a temporary replacement and helping Nikki.
That would certainly burn Adam up inside and leave him outraged over Victor’s decision.
Regardless, we know that Nick will be part of this effort to protect Victoria and will be seen in a work-related storyline soon.
It looks like Nick’s finally going to cave when it comes to rejoining the family business, so Victor should be pleased about that – even if Adam isn’t!
Victor is known for creating conflict and playing favorites with his children, so that could become a factor in what happens next.
